Øyvind has successfully secured financing for the Norwegian part of Lucio Basadonne’s Making (of) love last year. A documentary where a young group of Italian creatives has decided to bring sexual education into Italian schools by creating their own movie. They have decided it’s time for a change, and sex will never be the same again.

Øyvind is also currently collaborating with Spring Films in the UK on securing financing for the Norwegian post-production of Ila Jenkins’ India’s 1st Best Trans Model Agency. The film is a deeply personal, emotionally charged journey filmed over 5 years and follows the ecstasy and tragedy, the determination, hope, glamour, and the irrepressible spirit of Rudrani Chettri as she sets up the first model agency for India’s transgender community. But in a world of dominating traditional roles, prejudice, violence and marginalization, can they win a place on the catwalk?

Our other co-production is Judith Beuth’s Love Alone Can’t Make a Child a German-Norwegian production between Mattima Films and Kloos & Co. in Germany, and we are currently applying for production funding in both countries. This long-term documentary (shot over 7 years so far) follows lovers Maria (38) & Christiane (46) and their efforts at fulfilling their dream of having a child together. But systemic discrimination against lesbian couples combined with time constraints, and other physical & legal obstacles, makes this difficult undertaking even more challenging.
